Research and present your hometown!

In the project "Research and present your hometown!" students will explore what are the most special buildings or monuments in the city they are living in. They will tell us why other students should visit this place and something about the attractions. They will take photos, do a research and present it online.

This project will last one month. Students will explore their towns and tell us something about them. This project is a outdoor activity and it should motivate the students in doing their tasks. It is one of the themes that Caterina and I did on Erasmus KA1 project "Interactive teaching - Using educational games and new technology in order to enhance learners' motivation". We were talking about how to motivate the students and do more interactive teaching and presenting. The project is engaged of teaching outside the classroom; in an urban, local, national and European context.
The aim is to investigate our cities and the context doing the project is cultural, historical, social and environmental. The educational component includes teamwork, self-reliance, self-confidence, environmental education and computer skills.
Partners will take photos, do some online research about the things they have found, make a Presentation and share it on Twinspace.
